Languages
Galactic Common
Derived from Human English, Galactic Common is the universal language in the galaxy. This language can be learned and used by all sentient life forms.
Hirokan (Hero-con)
Closely resembling the ancient Japanese language with subtle hints of growls or hisses, Hirokan is the native language of the Myrthra. Whilst speaking in their hybrid forms, their language reflects their emotions easily; a troubled speaker would possess a slight sigh in their voice while an angered speaker would have more of a growl.
Eldarian
The magical language of the Elusyian people, Eldarian, is made up almost entirely of magical incantations. Their language is a soft, whimsical melody that speaks almost directly to the mystical energies of the universe, strengthening those who can both speak and understand it.
Vel’Dari
The beautiful language of the amphibious Anar’Gha, Vel’Dari can be mistaken for a song sung by an alien tongue. The long, drawn out vowels and elegantly fluent words seem to flow as gently as the ocean tides of the water-world, Annar. Though this language is somewhat difficult to learn, many practice it simply because its sound is so beautifully tempting.
Gral’Varr
This harsh demonic language, composed of long, echoic words, seems to speak to the darker parts of any being’s mind. Gral’Varr, the language of the Gorgans, borrows some words and phrases from the Eldarian language, but seems to be heavily influenced by the Annarian language, Vel’Dari, hinting that the three races may have similar origins. When speaking, most words sound as if two voices are speaking at once, which makes this language nearly impossible for any other race to speak, though there are some races who, under the culling and instruction of the Gorgans, have learned to use magic in order to help them pronounce the harsher, heavier words.
Binary
The language of computers, Binary is a series of zeros and ones arranged in specific patterns to symbolize specific things and is then transmitted from one target of communication to another via radio waves. Most semi-sentient super computers and sentient mechanoids can relay this language. Because Binary uses radio waves, the language cannot be spoken. It must be transmitted.
