Necra is a mysterious sun deep within the Uncharted Zones. It has an ominous green glow and releases an unknown type of energy, which seems to react with deceased sentient beings and brings them back to life. Once revived, these beings become mindless creatures who feed on the living. A bite from these creatures will infect the victim with a necrotizing disease that slowly kills them before bringing them back as one of these creatures.

The Alliance Explorer is a large-scale carrier sent on a deep space exploration mission when it was sucked in to a black hole. Mysteriously enough, the ship has reemerged from the black hole, but has sat idle for some time now. All communications have been severed.

Pandora is a small planet within the Uncharted Territories that, because of the exposure from a nearby Gas Giant and energy from a cluster of suns, used to teem with plasmic and radioactive materials. Because of this, this once primitive planet’s technology evolved at a highly accelerated. Though space travel was never accomplished, Pandora was a hidden gem of radioactive, corrosive, and plasmic weaponry. Because of this, Pandora was a highly dangerous place to be in. All forms of government that attempted to rise was shot until it became an unwritten law that whoever had the most guns had the most power.

There are many scattered islands along the surface of the planet and active underwater volcanoes.There are rumors of a valuable treasure hidden deep beneath the planet's surface, but few have braved these populated waters and even fewer ever surfaced again.
