Another day another dollar, not like Krad was complaining. They say money is the root of all evil, and Krad was the darkest of them all. He smirked as he gathered his things from the docking bay. He decided to leave his sword behind, as he usually did when he visited the Docks. Nothing he couldn't handle ever really happened here. All he needed today was his guitar. It was show time. His instrument was in a sleek black case, which he carried out of the docks just as the large pirate ship (hint hint) that dropped him off departed. The security tonight seemed... laxed as usual. It was the end of the week after all. Nobody wanted to work tonight. It was all about partying, and the Ithaka Sky Docks is all about partying.
Tonight the Docks were alive with neon lights and the sounds of a city. Cars, planes, hovercrafts, and the sounds of the people echo though the streets. Music floated along the night sky in visible notes of blues, oranges, greens, and reds. Any color that vibrated against the night sky and blocked out the stars filled the Docks night after night. The energy was to the roof. It seemed like everyone was either going to a party or coming from one. If they weren't getting drunk inside a bar or club, they were pre-gaming and readying their livers for yet another relentless assault.
Krad seemed to fit right in among the clubbers and party-people. Out of his adventurer's garb and dressed down in a black leather jacket adorned in silver zippers, buttons and straps, which matched beautifully with the black ripped jeans of the same style and black combat boots. His spiked ocean blue hair vibrated against the lights which threatened to blind his blue eyes were he not wearing a pair of sexy black shades to protect them.
Krad was scheduled to perform at a good friend's club tonight along with his band. The club was a good walk away from where he already was, but it easy definitely big enough to see from the street where he was. "Exca's Ecstasy" shined brightly across the skyline, signaling all who were looking for a good time to enter its grasp. Krad had a special attachment to this club. It had been years since he first arrived on this side of the galaxy, but when he did, this was one of the first places where he began to establish himself. It was at this very club where Krad's Rock Star career first took off.
He and his band weren't scheduled to perform for at least another two hours, but the night was young and, truthfully, Krad just wanted to see if he could pull some tail before his performance, no pun intended. As he got closer and closer to the club's main entrance, people out in the streets began to recognize him. He had performed at this very club on many occasions, not to mention the fact that he was actually a well-known performer here in the Free Zones.
The shouting didn't begin until he approached the block-long line of people waiting to gain entry into the club. He walked alongside the holographic tape that kept the clubbers in line while smirking and acknowledging their existence as he approached the entrance. Some shouted his name. Others begged for an autograph, but most just screamed and made fools of themselves. The Rockstar thought it was pretty entertaining himself.
When he walked up to the entrance he actually stopped in front of the bounces, which made them laugh. It became so routine for them to just let him in, they thought it was funny that he didn't just walk through. They told him to just go on through, he nodded respectfully, and then proceeded into the club. If one thought there were a lot of people outside, then the sheer volume of bodies inside would have blown their mind.
Club Ecstasy was the premiere spot, especially during the end of the week. Everybody who was anybody would be inside today. Krad wouldn't know the wiser. The only person Krad cared about was himself, and he was sooo happy to see himself. He managed to squeeze his way through most of the crowd and over to the bar. Once he grabbed himself a seat, that's when he realized the majority of the noise from inside the club were fans screaming out for him. When he finally got himself settled he noticed the groups of people behind him asking for autographs and fawning over him.
He looked a bit surprised to see so many people excited to see him, but at the same time, he didn't expect much less. He was Krad Zephyros after all. He grinned, then turned back around to the bar and got comfortable. He wasn't in any real hurry to chase the girls down. For now, he'd just settle for enjoying all the attention.
