Sean followed behind the group as they walked on board his ship. The crewmen lead the women on board and calmly directed them to the bridge with one leading and the other staying to the side to make sure none of the girls drifted off in the wrong direction. Though, honestly, he was just standing there to greet each one in passing with a flirtatious smile or gesture, and he did his best to make himself appear more attractive with the way he held his rifle close to his chest and stood straight up with his chest puffed out. He was doing way too much, but it seemed like the girls were very receptive and made sure to acknowledged him with smiles, winks, and sometimes a gentle touch just to further stroke his ego.
Sean wasn't really paying much to his men. He knew they would keep their hands to themselves and not cross the line, so he just allowed them to do as they pleased. Besides, he was doing his own observations at the moment. Swaying hips and curvy rear ends were today's subject matter, and Sean was determined to ace his exam. In his own mind, he was grading them like an English teacher would grade a paper.
He was taking everything into consideration; the size and structure of the subject, as well as how it complimented the rest of the subject matter. Most of the girls scored pretty well. The overall average of the group was a B, though because of the clothing some of the girls were wearing, he could not give an accurate grade. Kec'ka was one who dodged being graded. Her dress made it somewhat difficult for the commander to accurately make a decision, though it definitely enhanced his imagination, and wet his curiosity.
"Hey there sweety!" When Sean heard the girl's voice, his eyes immediately snapped up and every cell in his body froze solid; even the ones in mid-mitosis. "Thanks, like, for rescuing us. We were going to just take a little loop around, but say, we'll, like, go wherever you're going! I know that I'd like a little adventure, especially with such brave men by my side!"
Even with his nerves completely frozen, he made the grim mistake of looking up into her eyes, and it felt like his entire body went cold. Though his face remained... somewhat calm, there was only so much panic he could keep from his face. And then he spoke, weakly at first, but he quickly repaired his voice and spoke up again with a more normal tone. "N-no... no problem." Sean masked his shaken voice by coughing into his fist, then straightened out before continuing. "It's our duty as soldiers."
He felt stiff. Too stiff. He started to panic a bit. He made eye-contact with her, and she wouldn't break it. Her face was too beautiful, and her voice... she was just so hot he couldn't stand it. What the hell could he do? ~I sound like a robot! Gotta relax... be casually playful.~ He relaxed a bit and took a more casual stance, but just couldn't seem to work up the flirtatious aura he was trying to summon. "Besides, who would pass up the opportunity to rescue a ship full of women." ~Fuck, I forgot the compliment! I should have said pretty.. beautiful.. something!~
He was having an internal bout with himself as he fought to maintain control of the situation. Maybe it was a bad idea to try and flirt with her. What if he'd said something stupid or came off as a creep? Shit, what if he already did seem like a creep. He groaned to himself, trying desperately to maintain a calm and relaxed composure. Why did she have to start talking to him? Why not Kairu or somebody else. That's when he noticed some of the other girls, and even his own crew, were looking at them.
Oh how wonderfully sadistic fate was to put him in such a situation. Not only was Kec'ka's undivided attention on him, but so were the eyes and ears of everyone else on the ship. The cockpit was nice and spacious, so nobody would be cramped together like a sardine, but at this point, it seemed like the size of a keyhole... and Sean was being crushed on the inside.
"So, where are you from? I'm from, like, Lit'tem, but that's like a very long ways away!" It seemed she was in high spirits, which made Sean feel a bit more at ease. At least she wasn't trying to analyze him or anything. It seemed as if she was just being nice. Sean let loose a sigh of relief; choosing to believe she was just being nice rather than being flirtatious. Nice, he could deal with. Nice, he could tolerate. Nice, he could survive...
"I'm from Geonosis, a planet in the Alliance Zone. It's also a pretty good distance from here, so I can relate to how you feel." He was amazed at how casual he must have sounded, knowing full well that his insides felt like they were being crushed by a car. Unconsciously, he gave a cheeky smile and reached around to rub the back of his dark hair: something he always did when he got extremely nervous around a beautiful young woman.
~She looks about my age... so maybe we could start something... plus she is fuckin' gorgeous! And she seems pretty nice too... maybe this could work...~ He was starting to try and pull himself together. Maybe if Sean could just at least convince a little part of himself that he even had a chance with such a woman, he would stop being so nervous around her and feel as naturally as he acted.
"Hey commander," The pilot called out with a smug look on his face. "Your orders?" Sean could tell, by the sound in the man's voice, that he was being mocked. Probably being teased for being the youngest male on the ship and trying to talk with Kec'ka, who seemed the fairest of them all at the moment.
"R-right! Well if no one has any objections, let's head back to base." After giving the order and revieving a unison "Yes, sir!" from the crew, Sean's eyes regrettably fell back upon Kec'ka's He felt his nerves lock up again, but as a trout powers against the current of the stream, so did he power against stiff nervous and self-confidence issues. "If it's not a problem for you, we'll have to leave your ship here until we can get a crew out to try and transport it somewhere where it can be serviced." Talking formally was not something Sean was used to doing, which probably made his words sound somewhat forced or awkward, but he figured she might like that kind of talk from him, considering he was a commander. He was hoping it would get him a few extra points in her mind: make him seem more attractive and desirable. At the same time, though, he knew he sounded awkward.
~Girls are way too perceptive to not pick up on bullshit... She's probably going to see right through that... I'll never get a girlfriend at this rate...~ He let a disappointed sigh escape his nostrils, but he still held a calm, collected, and casual countenance. How much more of this onslaught could he take? ~This girl is gonna kill me...~

OOC: Kec'ka's gonna break Sean in two if she keeps that up... He's a very fragile young man when it comes to handling women lol
