Sore. Sore, drowsy, and annoyed. Sore, drowsy, annoyed, cramped, thirsty, hungry, and confused. Yup, that pretty much summed up Sven's life at that moment. He had just awoke from a deep and troubled slumber, and all of these feeling rushed in on him. His eyes fluttered open, and he sleepily sat up from his chair, rubbing away the night. The large window was uncovered, so he could see the endless space through the indestructible glass. They were so far out into nowhere that not even stars were a common site. Quickly pulling up screens created by the ships holographic generator, Sven searched to see how food stocks were going. Three days of food were gone. That means the yet-to-be named soldier boy had gone through his food. For three days, that was too much time lost. He pulled out a small breakfast and hastily ate it.
Once he was done scarfing down his meal, he finally gave enough of a damn to check where the boy was. Sven paused for a moment, then he heard the soft snoring. He looked behind his chair, and sure enough, soldier was slumped against the back of the chair, sound asleep. He must have figured out how to set the ship to auto-pilot, then waited for Sven to wake up.
There were so many things wrong with this situation. It had been ten years since he had passed out from teleportation! Ten years since he finally mastered the skill! In three months, Amy's god damn experiment took all of that away. His abilities were down the drain. It had been ages since the smoke had even tickled his throat, now a few passages through the void knocked him out.
He didn't even know why he had agreed to participate in the experiment. He didn't care about it, yet somehow Amy convinced him to risk his own body for a silly science test. He was half convinced she spiked his drink while she talked to him about it. Then, he woke up and promptly fell on the floor without any air in his lungs. His thanks for all of it was a slap to the face after using a small cuss. That was what really ticked him off, he went to hell for nothing.
The other thing wrong with this was the fact that it was partially Sven's fault too. He had waited only two weeks after the hibernation to begin this hunt. He had hardly recovered, then exerted himself way beyond his new set limits. This was the price he paid. He was too concerned in rushing off into space and completing an assassination then he was with the repercussions of his own health. The job could have waited, in fact, the guy would be dead now even without his help in the matter.
After growing tired of beating himself up over the past, he stood up, his head only a half-foot away from the ceiling. He really needed to get a bigger ship, even if it was just a few feet. Especially in case there was another situation like this. Alexander owed him at least that.
In a few steps, Sven walked around the chair to look down at the sad shape of the kid. Just as he was about to kick the boy awake, he heard a static call. A small earpiece was attached to soldier's collar. Sven snatched it up and put it to his ear.
"......lease hel....... my foo....... out........"
He began to wonder how a signal was even reaching them when he looked out the window again. A small moon was coming into view. The fucking idiot had set auto-pilot to circle! Instead of potentially flying to a planet with food and fuel, they had been circling a god forsaken moon. Nothing was on it! Actually, no. Someone was on it. And Sven knew almost for sure who it was. He would get his kill even after all this time.
He gave a quick kick to the side of soldier boy with his pointed, metal shoe. Just enough to wake him up, and a little extra as the beginning of his punishment.
"Hey dumbass, wake up! We have a week of food and less than that in fuel, so we're going down to that moon to see what we can.......... acquire."
Sven turned on heel and went back to his chair, shoes clinking off the ship's metal as he went. He sat down and began directing the ship from the holographic screens. He was setting a course to begin his moon hunt.
"I've found your captain, thanks to you. I'm impressed that you figured out how to activate circle, even if it was stupid. Although, ya know soldier boy, you're going to have to pay for you're burden. Fuel, food, services, the whole kit and kaboodle. You're on my ship now, you listen to my rules. Got it?"
Sven finally deactivated the last traces of auto-pilot and began steering round to the unnamed moon. The thrusters flared with even brighter blue light as more fuel entered the system. Gathering speed, Sven became a little more eager as the ship drew closer. The interior blue veins began to brighten up, even without a reason. Maybe they could sense the plots unfolding out in his mind. Before he got money from soldier boy, he was going to make him work. Maybe even kill the captain he worked so hard to stay close too.
Sven couldn't help but give a dark laugh at the thought, which seemed like it might just actually happen. Oh yes, three days of unconsciousness had nothing on his evil mind.

[WC: 943- I ended up fleshing it out a lot. It originally was only five hundred.]
[OOC: Finally, Sean and Sven part II has begun. I can't wait to see how this unfolds.]
